Scented Bath Salts Recipe Ingredients:

1 cup sea or kosher salt

1/2 cup Epson salt

12 drops scented oil

1/4 cup baking soda

food coloring (this is optional, but it makes it pretty and purple coloring would be great for one that is lavender scented)

Blend both salts and oil in bowl; add baking soda and mix well. Pour in bottle or jar, add a label, and decorate. Tie small labels into the string

Making a spa gift basket

If you have never made your own gift basket, homemade spa gift baskets are a good place to start. The items are easy to arrange in a basket and you can find very affordable spa items to fill it with. Trays and wooden crates work well as containers, but baskets are better because she can use it to store her spa items. Another attractive and useful container is a round hat box with a matching lid. After you have filled it with gifts, simply tie a wide ribbon around the hat box. Then that special recipient of the gift can use the hat box for it's intended purpose or to store precious photo's, costume jewelry, etc in!
